(DELRAY BEACH, FL) – Delray Beach Police say a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a freight train in Delray Beach early Tuesday morning.
According to officials the accident occurred near Old Dixie Highway and SE 10th Street.
Emergency crews were on the scene just before 6:30 a.m.
Police said a freight struck and killed a pedestrian on the FEC tracks. SE 2nd St., SE 4th St., and SE 10th St. are closed due to the incident.
