FORT LAUDERDALE, FL– Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-95 that left a pedestrian dead.
The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. on the northbound entrance ramp from Broward Boulevard Wednesday.
Officials say a 25-year-old woman was driving on the on-ramp when a man who was initially standing inside the paved shoulder of the ramp, darted in front of her vehicle for unknown reasons.
The man was struck by the vehicle and died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
