WEST PALM BEACH, FL– The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a suspect who fatally struck a pedestrian early Monday morning.
The incident was reported along Okeechobee Boulevard near Indian Road.
Officials say the pedestrian was attempting to cross Okeechobee Boulevard from the center median when a vehicle traveling eastbound, struck the victim and kept going.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The incident occurred at around 5:00 a.m.
