The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office needs the public’s help in locating a suspect who entered Ace Hardware on Forest Hill Blvd in Greenacres and allegedly helped himself to over $800 worth of tools.

PBSO says he then walked out of the store and began loading the unpaid merchandise into the back seat of his vehicle.

The manager followed the suspect out of the store and as he attempted to get his license plate number, the suspect allegedly struck the manager with his vehicle as he was attempting to flee, according PBSO.

The suspect is now wanted for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.  This incident occurred on May 18, 2022.  Ace Hardware is located in the 6700 block of Forest Hill Blvd, Greenacres.
