Deputies are searching for a suspect who allegedly used his cellphone to record a woman using the bathroom at Lake Worth Beach.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday that the victim noticed the lewd and lascivious behavior and busted into the neighboring stall.

She then chased the suspect from the bathroom and was able to make him delete the videos of her from his phone.
Police said the woman did not immediately report the incident because she was afraid.

Under Florida Statute 810.145(2), the crime of Video Voyeurism is committed when a person motivated by amusement, entertainment, sexual arousal, gratification, or profit intentionally uses an imaging device without permission to secretly view:

  • Another person dressing, undressing, or privately exposing their body; or
  • Under or through another person’s clothing, for the purpose of viewing the other person’s body or undergarments.

PBSO is warning the community that this may not an isolated incident and that there may be more victims.

Anyone who can identify the suspect, pictured below, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
