Beloved Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, 73, is still recovering from two heart procedures in less than a month, according to PBSO.
850WFTL first reported that Bradshaw was hospitalized on April 26 for a “medical condition.”
His spokesperson said that he underwent a procedure then and another one on May 13. PIO Teri Barbera has not give specifics on his condition or what was done to his heart.
“Doctors have confirmed the (May 13) procedure was successful. He is in good condition and his recovery is going better than expected. He has started physical therapy to expedite his return to normal life,” according to the press release issued by his office.
Sheriff Bradshaw continues to receive regular briefings and is able to guide his team. In fact, the sheriff expects to be back to work soon and doctors expect him to make a full recovery, according to Barbera.
Bradshaw is serving his fifth term as Palm Beach County sheriff and was first elected in 2004.
