Just days after Palm Beach County certified its election results, Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link is in the news again…for a very different reason.
On Thursday, Link announced that she tested positive this week for COVID-19.
According to our news partner, WPTV NewsChannel 5, Link told her staff, “I do not have any symptoms and feel fine,” before going into quarantine.

CORRECTION: The report from WPTV goes on to say that all of the other employees in the Supervisor of Elections office tested negative for the virus following last week’s election.
Correcting previous reporting of positive results. We regret the error.
It is unknown whether they have been or will be tested again, due to Link’s diagnosis.
