A passenger was killed in an early morning car crash after the driver lost control of their vehicle while trying to avoid road debris.
The incident occurred on I-95 near Northwest 125th Street Friday morning.
Officials say the driver of a Lexus drove onto the grassy shoulder and slammed into a tree.
The passenger died at the scene, while the driver was said to be uninjured.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
