WEST PALM BEACH, FL- After 2 and a half months in the hospital, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw has been sent home to recover.
“I’m feeling good and look forward to returning to the office soon,” Bradshaw said in a video posted to the PBSO Facebook page.
He went on to thank the employees of the sheriff’s office as well as members of the community for their well wishes.
Bradshaw underwent an elective heart procedure on May 3rd but remained hospitalized until last week.
PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera said Bradshaw was still receiving briefings and guiding his team during his stay.
First elected to office in 2004, Bradshaw has been reelected five times and is the longest serving sheriff in Palm Beach county history.
