Palm Beach County’s 2nd annual Juneteenth Fest falls on Father’s Day!

Juneteenth Palm Beach County’s 2nd Annual Festival falls on Sunday, Father’s Day this year.

The Juneteenth Unity x Black Excellence Festival was created to unite and uplift the community, and celebrate Emancipation day, according to Sukeenah Kelly one of the cofounders and executive director of Juneteenth of PBC inc.

Kelly says the festival is a day of communion, education, entertainment, food, resources, and is a space for Black-owned businesses to thrive.
More than 2000 residents attended last year’s Juneteenth Unity x Black Excellence Festival, despite the pandemic.

Not only was the festival the first of its kind, but it also made history when Juneteenth was recognized as a National and Federal Holiday on June 19, 2021.
Families of all ethnicities came out and supported Black Culture, Black Freedom, and 32 Black Businesses during its inaugural launch on June 19, 2021, at the Riviera Beach Marina,.

This year, event falls on Father’s Day and will be a great place to take dad with delicious, culturally diverse food, music (drumline) and a family reunion vibe.
