In an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Palm Beach County officials intend to place a food and beverage curfew on area restaurants.

County Administrator Verdenia Baker made the announcement on Tuesday stating that restaurants will be prevented from serving good and liquor services between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am.

With this mandate, county commissioners are targeting after-hours gatherings which could help spread the virus.
