(WEST PALM BEACH, Florida)– A person was shot and wounded on Clematis Street early Labor Day morning, according to the West Palm Beach Department.

Police officers arrived at the 200 block of Clematis Street around 1:30 a.m. and surrounded a parking lot, which is shared by Grease Burger and Whiskey Bar, and Lynora’s.

The victim of the shooting suffered minor injuries and has not been identified.

Many patrons of the restaurants were made to stay at the crime scene for hours after police cordoned the area off.

The shooting is still under investigation, and police do not believe it was a random incident.
