WELLINGTON, FL– Officials with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue are reporting that one person was pronounced dead at the scene after they were discovered in a burning vehicle Thursday.
The incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Greenview Shores Boulevard and Wellington Trace.
Fire Rescue personnel were able to put out the flames within two minutes of arriving at the scene.
The victim in the burning vehicle was pronounced dead and another victim was taken to an area hospital.
It is unclear how the incident occurred.
Authorities are still investigating.
