One Dead, Two Injured as Gunman Remains on the Loose After Shooting at Broward Bus Terminal

As two people to continue to recover in a local hospital after a shooting in Broward over the weekend, officials are still trying to find the person who shot them and killed another in the process.

It all transpired Saturday afternoon at Broward County Transit’s main terminal, located at NW 1st Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

According to Police spokeswoman DeAnna Greenlaw, here’s what happened in the moments leading up to the shooting:

“At some point, there was some type of a disturbance between two individuals. During the same time, it was beginning to rain and people were running towards the terminal to get away from the rain.”

As another bus was arriving, the suspect displayed a gun and shot the person involved in the disturbance several times. That victim died at Broward Health Medical Center.

Two innocent bystanders were also shot during the chaos. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and were later released.
