BOYNTON BEACH, FL– The Boynton Beach Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and one person injured.
The shooting occurred inside of a home at 147 Northwest 13th Avenue around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say both of the people who were shot were homeless but would reside at, and behind the home from time to time.
A woman who lived in a tent in the back of the home was fatally shot, while a man who lived inside the home occasionally was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released any information about the shooter.
The incident is still under investigation.
