A police officer was transported to an area hospital after a collision with an SUV in Miami.
The incident occurred on the 5300 block of Northwest 36th Street Thursday.
Authorities say the officer was on a motorcycle when the SUV cut the officer off at the intersection.
The officer is currently at Jackson Memorial Hospital and is expected to be ok.
Police shut down 36th Street from 53rd Avenue to the 112 Expressway to continue their investigation.
