West Palm Beach police responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of 34th St. in the Old Northwood Historic District just after 9:30 PM Sunday night.
A woman was found dead from gunshot wounds in the front yard of a house, though police believe the shooting occurred inside the home.
Others who claim to have been in the home at the time of the shooting say it took place outside of the home.
The name of the victim has not been released, though one person told our partners at WPTV she was his brother’s 18 year old girlfriend.
One person has been taken into custody, although no one has been charged and police say there no known motive for the shooting at this time.
Police and the medical examiner’s office continued their investigation Monday.
