UPDATE: All northbound lanes on Florida’s Turnpike have reopened at the Glades Road exit after being shut down for the Tuesday morning rush hour due to a fatal accident involving a big rig and two other vehicles.
A deadly crash is complicating the commute out of Broward into Palm Beach County with a deadly accident shutting down all northbound lanes on Florida’s Turnpike in Boca Raton Tuesday morning.
Officials say a deadly crash has closed all of the lanes at the Glades Rd. exit.
Slowdowns in traffic begin at before the Sawgrass Expressway in Deerfield Beach.
Take I-95, Military Trail, 441 and Federal Highway as alternates.

According to FHP, one person was killed when a tractor trailer tangled with two cars.
The accident happened at 4:39 a.m. and shut down all northbound lanes of the turnpike at mile marker 74, according to troopers.
FHP is diverting traffic off the exit to the Sawgrass Expressway at mile marker 71.
