
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FL– All northbound lanes of the turnpike in St. Lucie County are shut down due to a five-vehicle crash.
The crash was reported just after 12:30 p.m. at the 163.5-mile marker Florida Highway Patrol reported that the crash involved a tractor-trailer and that several drivers sustained minor injuries.
Traffic has been diverted off exit 152 at State Road 70, however, as of 3 p.m., traffic was backed up to just before mile marker 149.
It is unclear when the lanes will be reopened.
Drivers are being urged to seek an alternate route.
