NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL– North Miami Beach Mayor Anthony DeFillipo has been taken into police custody following an investigation into voting fraud.
The State Attorney’s Office reported that investigators found voting irregularities regarding the Mayor.
DeFillipo’s attorney Michael Pizzi, further explained that the arrest has to do with DeFillipo voting in a district he did not reside in.
The State Attorney’s Office is expected to address the charges later Wednesday during a press conference.
