Florida State University nearly beat 9th ranked Notre Dame in overtime, but a missed field goal wide left was the Noles undoing. Notre Dame beat what looks to be a quality team on the road and lives to fight another day. FSU backup quarterback Mckenzie Minton who hasn’t played a game in over a thousand days after a blown knew with UCF was masterful. Minton was initially put in the game late in the fourth quarter after the starter lost his helmet and had to come out for a play.
