Nike has decided to press pause on the sneaker collaboration with artist Travis Scott, following the tragedies at the Astroworld Festival.

“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” the shoe company said on their website.

According to CNN the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 Cactus Trails was set to be released in December.

Nike’s decision comes after a nine-year-old who was in critical condition died, according to NPR.

No announcements have been made on a new release date for the collaboration with Scott.

Ten people have died as a result of attending the festival, The New York Times reports.
