
We’re watching a tropical threat in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico.
Parts of the Gulf Coast could be hit by a tropical system over the weekend, bringing a potential foot of rain over the next few days to cities like New Orleans, Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida.
The National Hurricane Center said we could have Tropical Storm Claudette by the end of the day.

It hasn’t formed into a depression or a storm just yet but the National Hurricane Center does think it will before landfall later tomorrow night into Saturday morning along the Gulf Coast.
Tropical Storm Warnings have now been issued from Louisiana to the Alabama-Florida border and that includes New Orleans which is under a Tropical Storm Warning.
