Naked woman found climbing tree now facing murder charges

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL– The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is reporting they have taken a 34-year-old woman into custody on murder charges.
Officials say the responded to Magnolia Drive around 9:15 a.m. Sunday after someone reported seeing a naked woman running in the neighborhood, who then started climbing a tree.
Authorities set up a perimeter between Loxahatchee Drive and South of Okeechobee Boulevard and were eventually able to detain the woman identified as Sheree Williams inside of a drainage canal on West Scottsdale Road in North Palm Beach.

Officials say she was only wearing a pair of green underwear at the time.

While investigating Williams, authorities were led to a home in the 1500 block of Magnolia Drive where they found a woman dead inside of the home.
Officials reported that Williams confessed to using a cellphone charging cable to strangle the woman and said believed the victim was trying to sacrifice her for financial gain after having vivid dreams about it.
Williams was taken to an area hospital for an evaluation before being released into police custody.
She has since been charged with first-degree murder.
