DELRAY BEACH, FL– A 45-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted an elderly man while unclothed at a park.
The incident occurred inside Veteran’s Park on Saturday afternoon.
Delray Beach Police Department says the suspect, Kenneth Williams, entered the park around 1:30 p.m. and jumped into the Intracoastal.
Williams then exited the waterway minutes later, without clothes, and approached the elderly man.
Once Williams was close enough to the man, Williams slapped him.
The elderly man was not seriously injured.
Authorities were able to identify Williams when they arrived at the scene.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on an elderly person.
