A 25-year-old mother is dead after she was shot in the head in what investigators believes was a case of mistaken identity. The incident was reported in Fresno, California on July 29th. Authorities say Jacqueline Flores was sitting in her vehicle with her 6-year-old daughter when someone fired a single shot through the rear window of the car. Flores was hit in the head while her daughter was left uninjured during the attack. Flores was then taken an area hospital where she died three days later. Officials are reporting that they have not arrested a suspect and they believe Flores was not the intended target. Authorities are now asking for the public’s help to identify a potential suspect.
