Mother of girls found in canal arrested for murder

The mother of the two young girls who’s bodies where found floating in a canal in June, is now facing murder charges.

36-year-old Tinessa Hogan was arrested on Tuesday, weeks after her daughters  9-year-old Destiny Hogan’s and 7-year-old Daysha Hogan’s bodies were found in a canal in Lauderhill, near their home.

Authorities say they detained the mother after they got knowledge Hogan offered to baptize several residents in the same pond her daughters were found in, just one day before their drowning.
