A 37-year-old mom and seven teens have been taken into custody after they allegedly barged into a high school classroom and attacked a teen girl.

The incident was reported Guilford County, North Carolina on Tuesday.

The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office says one of the students let the group into Southern Guilford High and led them to the classroom where they all attacked the teen girl.

Video of the incident shows the group including the adult, punching the teen before the group ran from the classroom and were captured in the school’s parking lot.

The victim was said to have sustained minor injuries to her face from the incident.

Officials described teens as being between 16 and 18 years old and say only three of those involved in the fight were students of the school. The others were said to have attended schools around the district.

While an investigation into the incident is still ongoing, authorities say they believe the incident stemmed from another incident where the victim and one of the teens were involved in an altercation at a bus stop.

Two people have been charged as adults and are facing assault, first-degree trespassing, and inciting a riot charges, while the minors are expected to be charged with juvenile petitions for assault.

All three of the students who attended the school have also been suspended.
