Authorities in Missouri are currently searching for the boyfriend of a woman who was found dead inside her home along with her 11-year-old daughter.

The discovery was made on Sunday at a Boone County home after a relative of the victims called police to conduct a welfare check on the home.

When authorities arrived to the home, they found both the woman and her daughter, 43-year-old Allison Abitz and Jozee Abitz dead, while the woman’s boyfriend, 45-year-old JT McLean was missing.

An investigation later found that McLean was the last one to see both the mother and daughter alive and as of Wednesday, McLean was charged with two counts of murder. Authorities have since issued a warrant for his arrest.

He is described as a white male standing about 5 feet, 9 inches and weighing about 210 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.

Authorities also say that McLean has gone by the names John McLean, Steven Nagy and Steven McLean and is a truck driver with ties in Las Vegas; Chicago; St. Peter, Minnesota; Columbia, Missouri; and Fulton, Missouri.

Once arrested McLean faces a $1 million bond.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 573-442-6131.
