
A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing early this morning has been found safe.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department says that Saige was located around 5:40 p.m. in the 100 block of SW Paar DR.
Florida Treasure Coast Guardian Angels Chapter member Michael, found the teen wandering in the area and pulled over to connect her with authorities.
Saige was originally reported missing around 6:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Authorities say they received a call from Saige’s friend telling them that Saige believed that she was being followed by someone as she walked to school.
Around 7:00 a.m., officials located Saige’s phone and bookbag on the path she took to school but did not find Saige.
In that same hour, authorities found video of Saige walking through a neighborhood in what appeared to be a calm manner.

Michael told reporters that once he located Saige, he made sure she was ok and then asked her if she was being followed. Saige reportedly told him that she did believe she was being followed.
Michael also told authorities that Saige seemed scared and seemed lost.
Officials have not confirmed why Saige went missing, however, they are speaking with Saige and still investigating the situation.
