Officials in Tennessee are currently searching for a 28-year-old man who disappeared after having a few drinks at a bar with friends.

Dakota Bingham was last seen around 11:15 p.m. Sunday at the Nobles sports bar on Main Street in East Nashville.

According to witnesses, Bingham had been “drinking heavily” and told his friends he was going to ride a scooter back to his apartment.

Surveillance video showed Bingham attempting to get on his scooter but then leaving on foot instead.

Bingham’s friends then reporting him missing on Monday afternoon after not being able contact him.

Authorities had been searching the area of 5th and Main Street where he was last seen and his phone last registered, however, authorities said they discovered surveillance video showing  a man matching Bingham’s description struggling to stay afloat in the Cumberland River.

The video shows the incident occurred just before midnight on Monday.

A helicopter crew is now searching over the river for signs of him.
