Investigators are reporting that a 15-year-old Miami Beach girl who went missing Saturday has been located in North Carolina.

Authorities say that just before Jeimy Henriquez went missing, she was playing a video game called “Fire MAX” and began talking to a complete stranger on the app.

The person eventually drove to Henriquez’ home and Henriquez’ left with that person.

Around 10 p.m., Henriquez called her mother crying and saying that she was far from home and that she hadn’t eaten before hanging up.

Investigators were able to ping that phone call to an area in North Carolina where the teen was eventually discovered.

Authorities plan to release more information on the incident late Monday.
