WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI– Authorities are reporting that a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing on Friday has been found dead.
The body of Adriana Davidson was discovered near the athletic fields of Ann Arbor Pioneer High School on Monday.
“Our sincere condolences go out to the friends and family of Adriana,” Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Derrick Jackson said. “You remain in our thoughts and prayers. We would also like to thank everyone for your assistance in spreading the word, sharing tips, and offering your support.”
Davidson was reported missing on Jan. 27 after friends say she decided to go home early from school because she was not feeling good.
Davidson, however, never made it home.
Investigators found surveillance footage showing Davidson left the campus but come back an hour later.
Authorities say though Davidson came back to school, she never went inside.
Davidson’s phone was later found on the tennis court near the school and turned over to the police.
Officials say that they are in the early stages of their investigation but at this time there appears to be no indications of foul play.
The Ann Arbor Police Department is expected to take over the investigation due to the scene being within city limits.
