A newborn Oklahoma puppy was apparently supposed to have a twin. Skipper failed to separate and was born with six legs and two tails. And she’s believed to be the first. Doctors at an animal hospital posted a photo on Facebook, calling Skipper a miracle.
They say all her legs move and respond just like a normal puppy.
She was born with a type of congenital conjoining disorder, also giving her two tails, two urinary tracts and two reproductive systems.
She may eventually need physical therapy and help moving around because she also has spina bifida. For now though, the five-day old puppy is said to be strong, eating well and thriving at home.
