Authorities in Miami are currently investigating a domestic disturbance that left one person dead.

The incident was reported at the One Paraiso luxury building on Sunday at 3131 Northeast Seventh Avenue in Edgewater.

Detectives say they were called to the apartment after 25-year-old Courtney Clenney stabbed her boyfriend 27-year-old Christian Obumseli, in the shoulder.

Obumseli was rushed to an area hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Investigators say that while Clenney claims she stabbed Obumseli out of self-defense, they are still putting the details together.

Friends of the couple spoke to reporters and told them that the couple had a every questionable and rocky relationship. One of the friends also told reporters that she’d seen Clenney strike Obumseli on several occasions but never saw Obumseli strike back.

A neighbor, however, told reporters that they are able to see directly into the couple’s apartment and believed they witnessed Obumseli swing at Clenney last week.

Clenney who is an OnlyFans model and Instagram influencer,was taken into custody for questioning but was later transported to a hospital and Baker Acted after she allegedly began threatening to kill herself.

At the moment, she is not facing charges.
