The busy Memorial Day holiday travel weekend is underway despite the high cost of fuel.

If you are driving this weekend,  today will be the worst for traffic.

If you are flying, be aware that  at least one airline, Delta, is already cancelling flights.

So travelers should brace for a possible travel nightmare.

Delta Airlines is cutting summer flights, starting this Memorial Day.

The company reports COVID issues, staffing shortages and weather will likely cause disruptions through Monday and possibly  throughout the entire summer into the first week of August.

Meanwhile, JetBlue had to cancel flights due to a computer problem.

Airports across the UK were affected including 14 Gatwick flights that were cancelled on Friday so far.

The disruption has left holidaymakers stranded abroad.

In a statement, the airline said: “easyJet can confirm that the earlier IT systems issues have now been rectified.
