McDonald’s has become the latest company to update their mask policy following last week’s recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The fast food restaurant is now requiring all customers and staff member to wear masks inside it’s restaurants that are located in communities where the CDC has determined have “high or substantial transmission.”

Last week the CDC is now recommended that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people wear masks in public, indoor spaces in areas where there is substantial or high transmission of the coronavirus due to the highly transmissible delta variant.

Other businesses who have also updated their mask policies are Walmart, Target, Publix, Home Depot, Meijer and Kroger.
