Mask wearing will be optional at Walt Disney World Resort starting June 15

Starting June 15th face coverings will be optional at The Walt Disney Resort.

The Walt Disney Resort announced on Friday it will be making a few adjustments based on COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Face coverings will still be required for all guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.

According to the news release proof of vaccination is not required, guests who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation.

Physical distancing guidelines will also be relaxed for guests at certain areas.

Some experiences and entertainment will be operating with limited capacity, or temporarily unavailable.

The resort will still provide hand sanitizer stations and cleaning supplies.
