Mark and Donnie Wahlberg’s Mother Alma Wahlberg dies at 78

Alma Wahlberg, the mother of successful entertainers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg dies at 78, she frequently appeared on the reality series “Wahlburgers.”

Alma was a beacon of light on the reality series “Wahlburgers” always being the voice of reason and making sure that her sons stayed connected and loyal to each other.

The show portrays a loving family dynamic that’s not perfect but real and comforting to watch.

The sons announced the news about their mother’s passing on social media Sunday.

Mark Wahlberg tweeted, “My angel. Rest in peace.”

Donnie Wahlberg posted a longer, deeper tribute on his Instagram account.

He described his mother “as the epitome of grace” and said she’ll be celebrated “today and always.”

No information was given about the cause, date or location on her death.

Alma Wahlberg was born in Boston and is survived by eight of her nine children.
