GREENFIELD, WI–
The manager of a restaurant has been fired after he threw a drink in a customer’s face.
The incident occurred at the Crab Du Jour restaurant on 76th and Layton last month.
According to the report, the manager says he was having a problem with people trying to get free food from the restaurant.
The victim and her friend reportedly ordered crab legs but sent them back because they said they were cold.
“Like soon as we waited and then we got our food it was not right. Neither one of us took more than one bite,” said Mariah Luckette.
Video from the restaurant shows Luckette getting the manager’s attention. The two speak for a little before the manager suddenly throws a drink at Luckette before asking her to leave.
Luckette says though her eyes were flushed by medical staff, the incident left her with an eye injury:
“I know that it was lemon and something in there that caused chemical burns to my eye. They were flushing my eyes out for hours and hours,” said Mariah Luckette.
The manager was taken into police custody and charged with disorderly conduct.
Despite the restaurant taking swift action to fire the employee, Luckette says she wants the restaurant to be shut down and is taking legal action to do so.
