Man who sexually assaulted woman told her to “be safe” before taking off

Authorities in Miami Gardens are still searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a woman who was walking alone last week.
The incident occurred on June 9th in the area of Northwest 183rd Street and 22nd Avenue.
Officials say the suspect approached the woman around 8:39 p.m. and grabbed her from behind while pushing a sharp object into her back.
He then led her to a nearby parking lot and forced her to her knees and made her perform “unwanted sexual acts.”
The victim says the suspect told her that he would kill her unless she did everything he said.
She also told authorities that while the suspect was pulling up his pants, he told her to “be safe” before taking off.
The victim described the suspect as a black man standing around 5’5.
He appeared to be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.
The suspect was wearing a black shirt with the words “Rest in Peace” and a picture of someone who appeared to be deceased on the front.
He was also wearing dark-colored denim jeans and red dress shoes.
