West Palm Beach, FL– Authorities have identified the suspect who made a bomb threat at the Palm Beach International Airport on Tuesday.
The suspect has been identified as 66-year-old John Magee of Carneys Point, New Jersey.
Officials say Magee was on Frontier flight 2346 from West Palm Beach to Philadelphia when he told another passenger that he had a bomb in his bag.
“You don’t know what you’re in for,” Magee was heard saying. “I have a bomb in the bag.”
The passenger told a flight attendant, who notified the captain.
Deputies escorted Magee off of the plane and enquired about the threat.
Magee, however, claimed, “I didn’t say any dumb s— like blowing up a plane.”
Concourse C was shut down for several hours due to the Calim.
At a hearing on Wednesday, a judge set Magee’s bond at $30,000.
He will be allowed to return to New Jersey after he posts his bond but will have a court date on Feb. 23.
