A 23-year-old man has been arrested after police say he attempted to disguise himself as a woman and began recording women and girls inside of a restroom.

The incident was reported at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets in Massachusetts back on August 24th.

Authorities say they received several phone calls about a man wearing blonde wig acting strangely in the womens restroom.

According to the report, the suspect would follow both women and girls as young as 12 into the restroom and use a pen cameras and a cellphone to record them:

“What he would do is sit in the stall next to the vacant stall in hopes to place his foot in the position where he would be able to view the people in the adjoining stall,” said Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath.”

A witness noticed the suspect and snapped a photo before calling authorities.

When authorities arrived, however, the suspect had already fled the scene.

Investigators were eventually able to track down and identify the suspect through mall surveillance footage.

The suspect was identified as Jacob Guerrero of Woonsocket. He was taken into custody on Monday.
