A man has been issued a trespass warning at Disney after he was found using an stolen employee iPad to allow himself and a group of people to skip the line to multiple rides.
The incident was said to have happened in June.
Authorities say the unidentified man was seen on multiple occasions leading a group to the front of the line of rides after a Disney investigator began tracking several unauthorized employee ride reservations.
After identifying the man, the employee then had ride staff cancel the man’s reservation to see if he’d try to skip the line again.
The man then went to his vehicle where an officer approached him and asked if he had a Disney device with him. The suspect said yes before handing over a Disney employee iPad.
When the officer asked how he obtained the iPad, the suspect told them that was given the iPad by the owner of the company he works for but was unaware that the device had been stolen.
A Disney investigator told reporters that they have had encounters with this suspect in the past but did not go into details about the encounters.
Disney has since issued a trespass warning to the man, but charges have not been filed.
