Sharon, SC — A South Carolina man has been arrested after he allegedly used a spray-painted toy Nintendo Duck Hunt pistol to rob a convenience store on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at the Kwik Stop convenience store on York St around 5:45 p.m.
Officials say 25-year-old David Dalesandro went into the store wearing a wig, a mask, and a hoodie and showed the clerk the toy gun.
He then demanded the clerk empty out the cash register.
Authorities reported that Dalesandro made off with “approximately $300.”
Dalesandro was later tracked down at a nearby Dollar General.
He has been charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon, petit larceny, and a charge of “wearing masks and the like.”
