A 30-year-old man was transported to Ryder Trauma Center in extremely critical condition after a crash involving a boat and a personal watercraft.
The incident occurred on Monday around 6:00 p.m. near 1000 Venetian Causeway in Miami.
A City of Miami fireboat arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering from a head injury and transported him to Sea Isle Marina. Officials were met by Miami Fire Rescue paramedics who transported the victim to the hospital.
Witnesses reported that emergency personnel were giving the man chest compressions as they took him away.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
The situation is under investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
