Authorities in New York are currently searching for a man who reportedly smeared human feces on a woman’s face.

The incident occurred at a New York City subway platform in the Bronx on Monday.

Officials say the woman was seated on the bench at the East 241st Street subway station at 5:15 p.m., when the unknown man walked up to her. The man then pushed the bag filled with feces into her face. When the woman moved her head forward, the man continued to smear the contents on the back of her head before walking away.

The attack was caught on surveillance video.

Authorities in New York are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
