Police in Detroit are currently searching for a man who was seen on surveillance pointing a gun at a man holding a baby in his arms.
The incident occurred inside of a gas station in the area of Hubbell and Tireman just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
Video shows the suspect walk from the sidewalk into the gas station and pull a gun out of his shorts.
The suspect then points the gun at a man standing in the store holding a 7-month-old child in his arms.
The victim then charges toward the man and strikes the gun with one hand.
Investigators believe the victim’s actions may have caused the gun to jam.
The suspect then backs out of the store while still pointing the gun at the victim before fleeing the area.
Authorities are now searching for the man.
