A Tennessee area man is facing additional charges after he stabbed his wife for a second time while out on bond.
65-year-old Charles Hawes was taken back into custody on Thursday after he was just released in April.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the Hawes home to find the woman bleeding from her leg.
An officer wrapped a tourniquet around the woman’s leg to stop the bleeding before she was transported to an area hospital.
Her condition is unknown.
Police say Hawes was out on probation for the April assault, where he stabbed his wife in the stomach and hit her with a skillet.
He is now being held on a $210,000 bond.
