(LAKE MARY, FLA) — A man was reportedly arrested at Walt Disney World’s Epcot for disorderly intoxication during the Food and Wine Festival.
Park authorities say Chase Holderby, 30, of Merritt Island, Florida, caused a disturbance at the American Adventure Pavilion when bystanders claimed he downed two beers in under 30 seconds, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The police report stated Holderby appeared very friendly in line at a pavilion, shaking hands of guests and high-fiving people, but clearly stumbling.
Minutes later near the Japan Pavilion, Holderby began arguing with members of his party, and by the time he made his way to the Morocco Pavilion, park staff and security requested that he leave the premises.
“We followed Holderby to the International Gateway exit while he took his shirt off and continued asking what he had done wrong,” the report read.
Holderby then headed to the Skyliner gondolas, aggressively screaming. Once he arrived to the line queue, he acted ‘belligerent’ towards a crowd of guests.
“While attempting to get him onto the physical gondola car, he wouldn’t initially get in and was dangerously close to falling into the area beneath where the attraction operates,” the report read.
The transportation system of the Skyliner gondolas was halted for Holderby’s protection, “inconveniencing and delaying all other riders.”
Holderby was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication, according to deputies.
